How Do I Meet People
You won’t be alone for long when you enter our building. There’s no doubt that someone will greet you and make you welcome! While our services take place in our second-floor sanctuary, we nearly always have time for coffee after worship. After the “coffee break” we head to Sunday School. Although that’s optional, our adult class is the largest class on Sunday mornings!
In summers we change that up a bit. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day we give our Sunday School teachers and students alike a break. We still have worship at 10 am, but we meet at 9:30 for a light breakfast. (And then we finish any leftovers after worship…because we can!)
Nursery
We want parents to be free to participate in worship while knowing their children are safe and well-cared for. The nursery is on the first floor with easy access to restrooms. One paid worker and one volunteer are on duty.
OPW (Ottawa Presbyterian Women)
OPW has various meetings and events over the year. The next major activity is inSeptember when OPW is holding a quarter auction. This is a special kind of fun…or maybe craziness describes it better. Be prepared to part with some of your quarters, and be prepared to laugh. Yes, it’s a fund-raiser, but it’s also a “fun-raiser.”

Worship in the Park
Once or twice each summer, we change things up and meet in the park for worship. A potluck meal often follows.
In 2020, we met in the park for several months. Our most recent park worship in August 2023 reminded us of those days facing an unknown disease, but the service also reminded us of the many blessings that we have now learned shouldn’t be taken for granted.
